Bank of America international wire transfer fee
These are the fees Bank of America states on its own web page; we read the page on Oct 12, 2026. The fee is only one part of what a wire costs: the exchange-rate margin and fees taken by other banks come on top.

What the wire fee does not include
The fee above is only what the sending bank charges. The bank may also apply a margin to the exchange rate, and the receiving bank or an intermediary bank can deduct its own fees. The margin and these other charges are often not shown on the fee page.
Banks or transfer specialists: what the World Bank survey found
For US dollars, the median total cost was 4.31% at money transfer operators and 4.82% at banks, so operators were 0.51 percentage points cheaper. For an amount equal to $200 those medians are about $8.62 and $9.64.
Only 18 bank services were recorded, so the bank median rests on few observations.
The gap differs by sending currency, so it is not the same for every country.
